Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026
Plain-language summary: SourcingNav gives you AI-assisted decision support for recruiting. It advises; you decide. You're responsible for the data you put in and for following the hiring laws that apply to you. This is a preview product offered as-is.

1. What SourcingNav is

SourcingNav ("the Service") is a software tool that helps recruiters evaluate candidates against roles, generate sourcing strategy, and draft outreach. The Service produces decision support for a human user. It does not make hiring decisions, and its outputs are not determinations of any person's employability, qualifications, or suitability.

2. You are the decision-maker

Every score, ranking, verdict, or recommendation the Service produces is advisory. You, the user, make all hiring and candidate decisions. You must apply your own professional judgment and must not rely on the Service as the sole basis for any decision that affects a candidate.

3. Your responsibility for hiring-law compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all laws that apply to you, including but not limited to anti-discrimination law (such as U.S. EEOC requirements), automated-employment-decision-tool laws (such as New York City Local Law 144), and AI regulation (such as the EU AI Act and the Colorado AI Act). Where those laws require bias audits, candidate notices, or disclosures, those obligations are yours, not ours. The Service is designed to be explainable and auditable to help you meet them, but using it does not by itself satisfy any legal requirement.

4. Data you submit

You may submit information about candidates and roles ("Your Data"). By submitting Your Data you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to process it and to provide it to us for processing on your behalf, including any consent or legal basis required under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy law. You act as the data controller for Your Data; we act as your processor and only process it to provide the Service to you. See our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to unlawfully discriminate, to scrape or process data in violation of any third party's terms or rights, to attempt to re-identify anonymized data, or to make automated decisions about people without meaningful human involvement. You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Preview status; no warranty

The Service is provided on a preview basis, "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. AI outputs can be wrong. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for decisions made using the Service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SourcingNav and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any decision you make using the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the three months before the claim, or, if the Service was provided free, to USD $100.

8. Geographic scope

The Service is currently offered for use with U.S.-based hiring. If you use it in connection with candidates or roles outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with the additional laws that apply, including the EU AI Act's obligations for high-risk AI systems in employment.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
